land of navigators and great beauty

Greece

Greece is a dream for those who love to explore the sea, with over 6,000 islands and islets offering a variety of landscapes, traditions and natural beauty. Sailing between the Greek islands means discovering crystal-clear waters, hidden bays, picturesque villages and ancient ruins, all set in an atmosphere of serenity. Each area of Greece has its own charm, from the most lively to the richest in history.

Ionian Greece: The Ionian Islands, including Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakynthos and Ithaca, are perfect for a boat cruise due to their warm and calm waters. Corfu, with its Venetian charm, offers a mix of natural and historical beauty. Kefalonia, the largest of the islands, is famous for its golden sandy beaches, such as Myrtos and transparent waters. Zakynthos is known for its spectacular Navagio beach, while Ithaca, the birthplace of Ulysses, is enchanted with its green and mountainous landscape.

Sporades: This archipelago, which includes islands such as Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros, is a paradise for nature lovers. The turquoise waters and quiet bays are perfect for relaxation, while the green vegetation makes these places even more attractive. The islands are less touristy than other Greek destinations but offer an authentic and relaxing experience. Skiathos, in particular, is famous for its sandy beaches and lively nightlife.

Cyclades: The Cyclades are one of Greece’s most iconic destinations, with islands such as Mykonos, Santorini, Paros and Naxos. The islands offer a mix of breathtaking landscapes, white and blue villages and a lively nightlife. However, due to strong winds and very high temperatures, it is recommended to avoid the Cyclades from mid-July to the end of August, when the Meltemi makes sailing more challenging. Outside this period, the Cyclades are perfect for a cruise that combines natural beauty and culture. Mykonos is famous for its beaches and nightlife, while Santorini offers picture-postcard scenery with its white houses and spectacular views of the volcano.

Dodecanese: The islands of the Dodecanese, such as Rhodes, Kos, Patmos and Kalymnos, offer peaceful sailing among ancient ruins, turquoise waters and picturesque villages. Rhodes, with its medieval town, is a historical gem, while Patmos is known as the place where St John wrote the Apocalypse. Kalymnos is famous for its fishing and sponge harvesting traditions, while Kos is perfect for those who love the sea and sandy beaches.
